On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am honoured to invite you to the XIV International Taekwon-Do (ITF) “Cup of Peter the Great” tournament, Open Europe Cup to be held on December 9-10, 2006 in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia.

“Cup of Peter the Great” is a bright tournament with a long history and remarkable sports traditions.

Our tournament is a good chance for young competitors to perform together with prominent athletes, to test out their skills, try their strength and gain great competitive experience. Teams from over 20 countries are expected to come and compete for the Great Cup this year.

This tournament is a great and notable event in the Russian sports life. It will be conducted under the patronage of the National Olympic Committee, Physical Culture and Sports Agency of the Russian Federation, Government of St. Petersburg.

The Organising Committee will do its utmost to give you a warm welcome and make your visit to our beautiful city pleasant.
