ITF President prof. Chang Ung declared about awarding of a new status of World Cup to “Cup of Peter the Great” at the press-conference devoted to the ending of XIV International Taekwon-Do Tournament. Authority of the Tournament in the World increased so much that representatives of famous foreign Sports Publishments came to Saint-Petersburg to establish collaboration with Saint-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation. ITF President prof. Chang Ung presented the 7th Dan certificate to President of Saint-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation Mikhail Shmelev at the Opening Ceremony of the Tournament. Also ITF President wished success in preparation for World Championship 2009 which will take place in Saint-Petersburg. All teams got the invitation for this event at the bright Closing ceremony.
