GENERAL INFORMATION

TOURNAMENT RANK. WORLD CUP.

DATES. DECEMBER 8-9, 2007

VENUE. Russia, Saint-Petersburg, Sports Palace «Yubilejny».

RULES. The World Cup is carried out under ITF Rules. All the changes and supplements, stipulated by the Tournament Regulations, are taken into consideration.

There are 9 events in the competition:
- individual: Pattern, Sparring, Special Technique and Power Breaking
- team: Pattern, Sparring, Special Technique, Power Breaking
- Self-Defense Routine

PARTICIPATION.
All the teams-representatives of National Taekwon-Do Federations are allowed to take part in the World Cup. Only NGBs which are affiliated by ITF under Prof. Chang Ung leadership can participate in the World Cup.
Deadline for application forms is 12 November, 2007
Unlimited number of teams can participate from one National Federation

TEAM FORMING ORDER.

COMPETITORS: Competitors (male/female) participating in competitions must be at the age of 16 to 39 years old on the starting day of the competitions and must be black belt certificate holders.

COACHES
Only one coach for sparring is allowed to represent team on the ring. Coach must wear tracksuit and gymnastic shoes.

UMPIRES.
Each team must provide at least 1 umpire, not less than 3rd Degree holder, having umpire qualification or international tournament umpire experience, otherwise the team will get a penalty of 100 EUR.

PARTICIPATION FEE. Overall fee - 400 EUR per team.

ACCREDITATION AND REGISTRATION. Tournament Organising Committee (T.O.C.) register competitors, referees, umpires, officials, coaches and guests of the Tournament in hotel "Moscow" from 10.00 to 19.00. on 6-7th December, 2007.

Application of an approved type from authorized official of a team, the identity document of the competitor, the permission of the doctor, the medical insurance and Dan-certificate ITF are necessary to be admitted to the registration.

While the accreditation the competitors will receive numbers, to be fixed on the back of doboks

Note. Each participant and guest of the tournament arrived for accreditation on December, 7th, 2007 after 7 p.m. will pay the penalty of 50 EUR.

ACCOMMODATION. “Moscow” Hotel ***, Address: Alexander Nevsky Sq, 2.

Only those, who takes accommodation in “Moscow” Hotel, will be transferred by organizing committee from/to airport and to/from Sports Palace “Yubilejny”.

VISA. In case you need visa T.O.C. can provide 2 kinds of invitation, according to Consulate requirements:
1. Personal invitation (official form of Saint-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation).
2. Official personal hotel invitation-voucher (only for those who books accommodation in “Moscow Hotel”).

By air:
There are two airports in the city:
Pulkovo-2 for international flights
Pulkovo-1 for domestic flights
By train:
There are 5 railway stations in the city.
By bus:
“Eurolines” company provides regular bus trips from/to Saint-Petersburg - European cities.
