The Tornado St-Petersburg Ltd. guard enterprise is well known for its active sponsor role in sports movement of St-Petersburg. It has supported a hockey team, which subsequently won gold medals at the World Ice-Hockey Old-timers’ Championships of 1996 and 2004. For many years the Tornado St-Petersburg Ltd. guard enterprise has been closely collaborating with the St-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation, partially financing it and using as sports base to train company employees. An International tournament "Cup of Peter the Great", Open Europe Cup, created by Tornado, became one of the most well-known European Taekwon-Do tournaments. The Tornado St-Petersburg Ltd. guard enterprise has been traditionally providing protection and safety of this tournament.
